IP Practice: Paul Hastings

Law360 (December 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- More patent infringement battles between Asian companies are going to be playing out in U.S. courts, according to Stephen S. Korniczky, global chair of Paul Hastings Janofsky & Walker LLP’s intellectual property practice.

As Japan, Korea and Taiwan continue to churn out much of the world’s manufacturing and technology developments, U.S. courts will see a surge in patent litigation initiated by and targeted against firms based in Asia, Korniczky said.
