Private Equity Firms Fail To Get Antitrust Suit Tossed

Law360 (December 16, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- In a setback for Wall Street, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Goldman Sachs Group Inc., Blackstone Group LP and a slew of other financial institutions have failed to persuade a federal judge that an antitrust suit over joint bidding procedures for leveraged buyouts is nothing but a securities case in camouflage.
