Schaeffler, IRS End $25M Dispute Over Stake Sale Loss

Law360, Washington (June 13, 2016, 5:15 PM EDT) -- A Schaeffler GMBH & Co. partnership has reached an undisclosed settlement with the IRS over its $25 million reduction of the German automotive and industrial components manufacturer's capital losses claim, which had spun out of an €88 million ($121 million) sale of shares in two Schaeffler subsidiaries.
