Court OKs Lehman Restructuring Officer, Lease Deal

Law360, New York (December 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- The federal judge overseeing the Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. bankruptcy signed off on numerous motions Wednesday, approving the appointment of the chief restructuring officer and the resolution of a lease dispute, among other requests.

Judge James M. Peck of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York handed down an order authorizing Lehman’s retention of Bryan P. Marsal as chief restructuring officer, along with additional personnel of the advisory services firm Alvarez & Marsal North America LLC.
