IP Legislation To Watch In 2009

Law360 (December 18, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- Despite the boost copyright and trademark enforcement received in the waning months of the 110th Congress, questions remain about whether lawmakers will have the bandwidth to bring about major intellectual property reform in 2009.

With efforts to pass a patent reform bill lingering in the halls of Congress for years, some attorneys doubt whether lawmakers will fit IP into a list of legislative concerns that includes a lagging economy, war and a continuing health care crisis.
