Victims, Others File Suits Over Calif. Train Crash

Law360, New York (December 29, 2008, 12:00 AM EST) -- More than three months after a deadly commuter train crash in Southern California, the lawsuits over the passenger rail disaster that left 25 people dead and dozens injured have started to trickle into the courts.

Just days ago, suits began appearing in Los Angeles Superior Court on behalf of the victims, with the total number of complaints related to the Metrolink regional train crash currently standing at seven, the Associated Press reported.
