Law360, New York (June 24, 2016, 7:13 PM EDT) -- Centene Management Co. has reached a $4.5 million settlement with group of nurses who accused the health care company of failing to pay them millions of dollars in overtime, the parties told a Washington federal court on Thursday.
The proposed class would include all nurses who worked for Centene, which operates government-sponsored health insurance plans, over the last three years in California, Illinois, Missouri and Ohio. The nurses, along with Centene, filed a joint motion for preliminary approval of the proposed $4.5 million settlement in the case Thursday.
