German Shipping Co. To Pay $1M For Wastewater Cover-Up

Law360, New York (July 5, 2016, 9:00 PM EDT) -- A German shipping company has pled guilty to covering up the dumping of oily wastewater into Minnesota’s Lake Superior and will cough up about $1 million to wrap up the criminal case, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Tuesday.
