Mercury Computer Strikes ARS Deal With UBS

Law360, New York (January 6, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Mercury Computer Systems Inc. has reached a settlement with UBS AG that will provide liquidity for the computer company’s auction rate securities portfolio held with the Swiss bank.

As part of the deal, Mercury is allowed to sell its auction rate securities to UBS at par value at any time during a two-year period between June 30, 2010, and July 2, 2012, according to Mercury’s filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.
