Mich. Appointed Lead Plaintiff In Bear Stearns Case

Law360, New York (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The state of Michigan has been named lead plaintiff in a proposed securities class action filed in the wake of the collapse of investment bank Bear Stearns Cos. Inc.

Judge Robert W. Sweet of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York also named Labaton Sucharow LLP and Berman DeValerio Pease Tabacco Burt & Pucillo as lead counsel in an order entered Wednesday.
