Execs Of Ex-Forex Dealer Accused Of $15M Fraud

Law360, New York (January 8, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two principals of a defunct Illinois futures dealer are facing criminal charges they used $15 million in customer funds earmarked for over-the-counter foreign currency trades to fund their own lavish lifestyles.

Charles G. Martin, 43, and John E. Walsh, 60, were charged in a criminal complaint unsealed Wednesday with wire fraud for allegedly misappropriating funds from One World Capital Group LLC, which has been closed since federal regulators obtained a court order in December 2007 freezing the firm's assets.
