Madoff Remains Free On Bail After Judge's Ruling

Law360, New York (January 12, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bernard L. Madoff will be able to stay in his Upper East Side apartment after a federal magistrate judge on Monday ruled against a prosecution motion to have the disgraced fund manager jailed for violating the terms of his parole.
