Fed. Circ. Won't Rehear AT&T's Challenge To Web Patent

By Brian Amaral (August 11, 2016, 6:10 PM EDT) -- The Federal Circuit said Thursday that it won't rehear arguments after it renewed a lawsuit against AT&T for allegedly infringing a patent for filtering internet content.

The brief per curiam order rejected AT&T's call for a panel or en banc rehearing of a panel's decision in June that, contrary to the district court's decision dismissing the suit, Bascom Global Internet Services Inc.'s patent met the Alice test.
