Ex-Federal Prosecutor Joins Venable SEC Practice

Law360, New York (January 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A former federal prosecutor has left Saul Ewing LLP to become a partner in Venable LLP's Baltimore office, where she will focus on white collar criminal cases, internal investigations and corporate governance issues.

Sheryl Robinson Wood joined Venable's SEC and white collar defense group in mid-October, but the firm did not announce her hiring until Tuesday. She comes from the Baltimore office of Saul Ewing, where she was a partner in the litigation department and co-chairwoman of the white collar and government enforcement practice group....
