Mylan, Barr, Sandoz Sued Over ANDAs For Solodyn

Law360 (January 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Medicis Pharmaceutical Corp. has sued three generic-drug manufacturers to stop them from launching a generic version of Solodyn before the patent for the acne medication expires.

Sandoz Inc., Barr Laboratories Inc., Mylan Inc. and two Mylan subsidiaries have been accused of patent infringement in response to regulatory applications they submitted to make generic Solodyn, according to a complaint filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware.
