Amazon Atty Returns To Kilpatrick Townsend As IP Partner
By Taylor Arluck (August 25, 2016, 6:42 PM EDT) -- Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP has hired an attorney from Amazon.com Inc., who worked on trademark issues at its Emmy Award-winning original content business, to rejoin its intellectual property department as a partner.
Allisen Pawlenty-Altman returns to Kilpatrick Townsend after spending two years in Seattle as corporate counsel at Amazon, where she led an in-house team responsible for all trademark, copyright and enforcement work at Amazon Studios, which has produced original programming such as "Transparent," "Alpha House" and others.
Pawlenty-Altman said Kilpatrick Townsend's location and history were at the heart of her return to the firm.
