Radiology Centers Settle Kickback Suit For $1.2M

Law360, New York (January 14, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Several radiology centers in the Chicago area will pay $1.2 million to settle a lawsuit by the Illinois attorney general accusing them of paying illegal kickbacks to referring doctors.

Attorney General Lisa Madigan announced the settlement Wednesday involving 14 individual radiology centers and MIDI LLC, a McLean, Va.-based company that operates a network of diagnostic imaging centers nationwide.
