NXP Seeks Sanctions From LSI, Agere In Patent Spat

Law360, New York (January 15, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Netherlands-based NXP Semiconductors USA Inc. has asked a court to order nearly $20,000 in sanctions against LSI Corp. and Agere Systems Inc. for allegedly failing to produce requested discovery materials until after NXP had filed a motion to compel in the declaratory judgment suit the company brought over 13 LSI patents.
