Warner Bros., Fox Settle 'Watchmen' Dispute

Law360, New York (January 16, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. has agreed to pay what could be tens of millions of dollars to 20th Century Fox Film Corp. to settle a dispute over the rights for the popular 1980s graphic novel “Watchmen,” ending one of the more contentious rights battles in Hollywood history.
