ITC To Investigate Reebok Patent Infringement Claims

Law360, New York (September 12, 2016, 4:00 PM EDT) -- The U.S. International Trade Commission announced Monday it is opening an investigation into claims from Reebok International Ltd. that a U.S. company is importing sneakers that infringe on its patents.

In a notice scheduled for publication in the Federal Register on Tuesday, the ITC said it would investigate claims that RBX-brand shoes manufactured and imported by TRB Acquisitions LLC — already the subject of a trademark suit and a patent suit, both in Oregon district court — infringe on two of Reebok's patents.
