Senate Confirms Salazar As Interior Secretary

Law360, New York (January 21, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The U.S. Senate has confirmed Sen. Ken Salazar, D-Colo., as secretary of the interior, paving the way for a new push toward energy independence.

Salazar was confirmed unanimously, along with several other nominees to President Barack Obama's administration, on Tuesday, the Department of the Interior announced.
