Judge Sets Aside $11M In Late Madoff Investments

Law360, New York (January 26, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Two businessmen who invested with Bernard L. Madoff just days before he was arrested and accused of masterminding the largest Ponzi scheme in history had a total of $11 million set aside last week from the pool of money that was recovered for investors.

Judge Barton R. Lifland of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York approved separate stipulations that Martin Rosenman and Stanley Krieger reached with Irving H. Picard, the trustee overseeing the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC...
