IBM, Former Exec Settle Fight Over Move To Apple

Law360 (January 27, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- IBM Corp. and Apple Inc. have settled their tug-of-war over former IBM senior executive Mark D. Papermaster, who was sued by IBM for violating a noncompetition agreement after he left IBM to take a job at Apple.

According to a consent order filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, Papermaster will be allowed to start working at Apple on April 24, or six months after he left IBM.
