Kirkland Wants $1,110 Per Hour For Tronox Ch. 11

Law360 (January 28, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Kirkland & Ellis LLP could take home as much as $1,110 an hour for its work in the Chapter 11 case of Tronox Inc., a pigment producer that filed for bankruptcy protection earlier this month.

In its application to represent Tronox, filed on Jan. 12 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, Kirkland said its standard hourly fees for a Chapter 11 case range from $550 to $1,110 per hour for partners, depending on the seniority and experience of the attorney....
