PCA Extends Peanut Recall To Older Products

Law360 (January 29, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Peanut Corp. of America has widened its nationwide peanut recall to include all peanuts and peanut products produced in its Georgia facility over the past two years, responding to an ongoing salmonella outbreak that has sickened more than 500 people.

About two weeks after expanding its recall to include all peanut butter and peanut paste products manufactured on or since July 1 in its Blakely, Ga., plant, PCA announced Wednesday that it was extending the hold to products made in the facility since Jan. 1, 2007....
