North American Power Sued Over Emissions Permit

Law360 (January 30, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- North American Power Group Ltd. is facing a lawsuit alleging that its emissions permit for the development of a coal-fired power plant in Wyoming is invalid.

The Sierra Club lodged the suit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Wyoming on Thursday that challenges the company’s construction of the Two Elk plant near Wright, Wyo., and calls for the state environmental regulator to step up its enforcement of emissions standards.
