DLA Piper Wins Securities Litigator From Saul Ewing

Law360, New York (February 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- DLA Piper has lured an expert securities litigator away from Saul Ewing LLP, bringing Timothy E. Hoeffner into the firm's New York City and Philadelphia offices.

Hoeffner, who concentrates on complex securities and business litigation, as well as counseling on corporate governance issues, served as chair of Saul Ewing's corporate governance practice.

He has represented companies such as Enron Corp. and Sotheby's, and in 2007 was tapped by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to conduct an investigation into accounting practices at AOL Time Warner....
