Judge Trims Claims In Washer Suit Against Sears

Law360 (February 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge on Friday pared down a putative product liability class action against Sears, Roebuck and Co., dismissing fraud liability and unjust enrichment claims but letting breach of warranty claims stand in a lawsuit that accuses the retailer of knowingly selling defective washing machines.
