Law360, New York (October 24, 2016, 8:47 PM EDT) -- Two oil and gas companies sponsored by energy-focused private equity shop ArcLight Capital Partners LLC are set to merge in a unit-for-unit deal that will create a midstream energy company with a value of about $2 billion, the companies said on Monday.

American Midstream Partners LP will acquire 100 percent of JP Energy Partners LP under the agreement.
