EU Raids High-Voltage Cable Market Cos.

Law360, New York (February 2, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The European Commission has reportedly carried out early-morning raids on a number of companies in the high-voltage underground cable market that are suspected of antitrust violations, including Italian cable maker Prysmian.

The European Commission confirmed that it raided the companies last week “in the context of antitrust violations” but wouldn't list the companies or the countries, Reuters reported on Monday.
