Grange, Chubb Battle Over Indemnity For Class Action

Law360 (February 3, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A judge has granted in part a bid by Grange Mutual Casualty Co. and its units to compel discovery in a dispute with Chubb Custom Insurance Co. over coverage of a settlement in a class action accusing Grange and many other insurers of improper claims practices.

In an opinion Friday, Magistrate Judge Norah McCann King of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio also denied Grange's request for attorneys' fees related to the motion to compel because she rebuffed part of Grange's motion....
