Siliconix Sues Rival Over Chip Transistors

Law360 (January 28, 2004, 12:00 AM EST) -- Chip maker Vishay Intertechnology’s Siliconix unit has sued rival Advanced Analogic Technologies over semiconductor transistors used in computers, cellular phones, fixed communications networks, automobiles, and other electronics systems.

The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, alleges that some of AnalogicTech’s products infringe three Siliconix patents that relate to power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor ("MOSFET") products.
