3M, Andover Forge Last-Minute Deal In Bandage Patent Row
By Y. Peter Kang (November 7, 2016, 9:00 PM EST) -- On the eve of a jury trial, manufacturing giant 3M Co. has settled a patent infringement suit brought by bandage maker Andover Healthcare Inc., according to documents filed Monday in Delaware federal court.
In a one-page letter, Andover told U.S. District Judge Leonard P. Stark that the parties have resolved all claims and counterclaims with prejudice in litigation accusing 3M's Coban line of self-adhering wraps and bandages of stepping on Andover's patent covering "cohesive products."
