Judge OK's Bonus For Musicland Execs

Law360, New York (August 14, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Though Musicland Holding Corp. may have hit a sour note with its bankruptcy, five of its executives will be whistling a happier tune now that a bankruptcy judge has approved the entertainment retailer’s bid to pay them incentive bonuses.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Stuart M. Bernstein said on Thursday that Musicland could pay bonuses totaling $816,200 to five executives for helping to steer the company through a court-ordered auction of its assets.
