EU High Court Adviser Weighs In On L'Oreal IP Suit

Law360 (February 9, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Signaling a possible win for trademark owners, an adviser for Europe's highest court suggested Tuesday that European law prevents companies from gaining an unfair economic advantage by making products that imitate a well-known trademark belonging to another company, regardless of whether the trademark owner suffers any harm.
