Senators Raise Concerns Over SEC Hedge Fund Probe

Law360, New York (August 15, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The chairmen of two Senate committees have reportedly sent U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman Christopher Cox a letter criticizing the agency over how it has dealt with allegations that political concerns compromised the review of a well-known hedge fund.

Sen. Arlen Specter, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, and Sen. Charles E.
