Malpractice Suit Says Allergan Schemed With Implant Doctors

By Kat Sieniuc (November 30, 2016, 5:03 PM EST) -- Three patients suing their plastic surgeon for bad breast augmentations told a Florida state court Tuesday the company that made the implants is also at fault, since it signed off on $8.96 million worth of phony warranty claims, aiding a scheme to profit from intentionally botching the insertion of a perfectly good saline product.

The suits, which claim implant manufacturer Allergan Inc. abetted a conspiracy by Loren Z. Clayman against his patients by continuing to reimburse and sell him saline implants, are the latest in a string of litigation making the same allegations against the pair, as well as another doctor...
