Oil Recycling Co. Employee Pleads Guilty To Conspiracy

Law360, New York (November 30, 2016, 9:02 PM EST) -- A worker at a New Jersey feedstock collector and recycler has pled guilty for his part in manipulating records that were subpoenaed during a federal investigation into a renewable fuel and tax credit scam, prosecutors said Wednesday.

William Letona, 49, pled guilty in Ohio federal court Monday to a conspiracy charge for altering and destroying documents. According to prosecutors, Letona and the company he worked for, Unity Fuels, would buy fuel labeled "biomass" from a New York broker and then sell it back to the company marked...
