Ex-Baseball All-Stars Form Private Equity Group, $50M Fund

Law360, New York (December 1, 2016, 7:46 PM EST) -- Retired baseball all-stars Barry Larkin, David Ortiz, Nolan Ryan, Vernon Wells and Torii Hunter announced the creation of a baseball-focused private equity group Thursday.

Dugout Ventures said it has already made major investments in two of Major League Baseball’s equipment providers and announced it is opening a limited number of spots in a $50 million baseball-focused discretionary fund.
