Manufacturers Urge Obama To Oppose Patent Reform

Law360 (February 10, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- The Manufacturers Alliance on Patent Policy, an ad hoc coalition of more than 130 nonpharmaceutical manufacturers that includes Dow Corning Corp., DuPont Co., Monsanto Co., PepsiCo and Texas Instruments, wrote a letter to President Obama on Tuesday saying that patent reforms proposed in recent years would hurt manufacturers by weakening patent protections.
