Law360, New York (December 9, 2016, 1:47 PM EST) -- The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission recently made good on a promise to prioritize immigrant rights, issuing new guidance late last month that updates its take on what is and isn’t national origin discrimination.

The 50-odd page document, supplemented by a Q&A and a fact sheet aimed at small businesses, comprises the agency’s first guidance on national origin discrimination since the 2002 section of the EEOC’s compliance manual it supersedes.
