Fraud Suit V. Holland & Knight Too Late: Judge

Law360, New York (February 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- A federal judge has tossed a Florida man’s lawsuit accusing Holland & Knight LLP of misrepresenting him in a copyright dispute by withholding key information that led him to take a settlement offer.

Judge T.S. Ellis III of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia on Thursday granted Holland & Knight’s bid to dismiss Warren Katz’s suit after determining his breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims were time-barred.
