Dreier Leaves Jail For House Arrest

Law360, New York (February 13, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Disgraced New York attorney Marc Dreier left jail Friday for house arrest in his Manhattan apartment, but the hiatus may be short-lived as he prepares to fend off charges of defrauding investors of $400 million.

After inking a $10 million bond, Dreier left under escort the Metropolitan Correction Center in New York, where he had been behind bars since Dec. 7 following his arrest for securities and wire fraud.
