Federal Circuit Sides With Monsanto In Licensing Spat

Law360, New York (August 16, 2006, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has partially affirmed a decision involving Monsanto Co., dismissing claims of patent misuse and antitrust violations hurled at the agrochemical giant over its Roundup Ready licensing arrangements.

On Wednesday, the Federal Circuit upheld a decision handed down by the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, rejecting the allegations of defendant Scruggs Farm.
