Samsung Hits Kodak With ITC Suit Over Patents

Law360, New York (February 17, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. on Tuesday filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission against Eastman Kodak Co., accusing the U.S.-based camera maker of importing products that infringe two of the Korean electronics giant's patents.

The complaint asks the ITC to begin an investigation to remedy what Samsung calls the unlawful importation by Kodak of infringing products.

According to the complaint, more than a dozen Kodak camera models that infringe Samsung's patents are being imported into the U.S.
