Google Faces Antitrust Suit Over Ad Price Hike

Law360 (February 18, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Google Inc. has been hit with an antitrust complaint by LLC alleging the Internet giant unfairly manipulated its advertising prices to eliminate the Web site operator as a competitor.

The suit, filed Tuesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California, accuses Google of imposing massive price increases to "strangle" TradeComet's business, in breach of federal antitrust laws.
