Stone Pigman Comes To Houston, Adds 5 Cogan Energy Attys

Law360, Houston (January 19, 2017, 7:03 PM EST) -- Louisiana-based Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann LLC announced Wednesday that it has merged with Houston-based commercial transactions and energy boutique firm Cogan & Partners LLP, expanding Stone Pigman's energy and industrial practices and establishing its Houston presence.

John P. Cogan Jr. and Michael Anthony Nunes join the firm as members, while attorneys John P. Cogan III, Carlos A. Morán and James A. Cogan join as special counsel. There were two other attorneys with Cogan & Partners who didn't make the move — one retired and another will be working as in-house counsel for a former client, Cogan Jr. told Law360 Thursday....
