Trump Taps EEOC Commish Lipnic As Acting Chair

Law360, New York (January 25, 2017, 3:24 PM EST) -- President Donald Trump has appointed Victoria Lipnic, a commissioner at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission since 2010, to serve as the agency’s acting chair, the EEOC announced Wednesday. 

Lipnic, a former assistant secretary of labor who also practiced at Seyfarth Shaw LLP prior joining the EEOC, will take over the leadership role from Jenny Yang, who has chaired the five-member commission since September 2014.
