Ill. AG Sues Caterpillar Over Oil-Waste Spill

Law360, New York (February 24, 2009, 12:00 AM EST) -- Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has launched a lawsuit against heavy equipment maker Caterpillar Inc. in connection with an oil-waste spill that dumped an estimated 6,500 gallons of raw untreated industrial process wastewater into the Des Plaines River in early February.
