Deals Rumor Mill: Royal Dutch Shell, Fairfax, Saudi Aramco

By Benjamin Horney (February 6, 2017, 8:53 PM EST) -- Royal Dutch Shell PLC is seeking buyers for the stake it owns in Danish Underground Consortium, an offshore oil and gas joint venture, according to a Monday report from Reuters. According to the report, a sale of the stake, which could fetch as much as $1 billion, would mark Royal Dutch Shell's effective exit from Denmark. Bank of America Merrill Lynch is overseeing the sale process for the 36.8 percent stake, the report said. The other companies that own stakes in DUC include A.P. Moller-Maersk, Chevron Corp. and Danish state-run Nordsøfonden....
